Our Pastors

Pastor John Bergson has been in the ministry for over 30 years and is in his eighth year at Stanfold Lutheran.  He has served a variety of different churches and has also been a church planter.  He especially enjoys pastoral care and counseling, visiting, and  leading Bible studies.  He and his wife, Debby, have been married for 33 years and are the parents of six children.  He is excited about the new ministry opportunities as we expand our walls and build our mission!

Pastor Jerry Hibbard recently celebrated 66 years as an ordained minister.  He served Stanfold Lutheran Church as our associate pastor until his passing on July 18, 2024 at the age of 92. He and his wife Shirley, married for 65 years and parents of two grown children,  enjoyed a very busy retired life--if it could be called “retirement” at all.  Jerry served many interim assignments in Wisconsin as well as as pulpit supply in the years since his official retirement in 2001.  Pastor Hibbard was called back to Stanfold Lutheran church for the third time as an interim pastor, and remained on as associate pastor when John Bergson was called to the senior pastor position in 2017.
